Here are some pictures of our cruise! We went back in April and had a really fun time!

We visited Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, & Cabo San Lucas! The funnest thing we did was the dune buggies! We also went snorkeling and horseback riding. We ate a lot and had a lot of fun! Our ship was huge and really nice. I loved the plates that we ate on at dinner. The ship had a 1920's theme, which is my favorite! Our balcony was fun, too. The gym and spa on the boat were really nice, too! You iPod would connect to the treadmills and download your whole playlist! Incredible!

We also got to visit our friends Nate and Jaime in L.A., which was super GREAT!

1/2 Marathon!

Lee Family Vacation

I recently just returned from a fun trip to Idaho with my family. We went to McCall, Idaho for a family reunion and stayed in a fun cabin and went jet skiing and boating all week! It was a fun trip and I am glad that I got to see everyone! It was fun to see my grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and cousins!

Thanks for a fun trip Mom and Dad!

I also got to go to Cafe Rio! It was fab! Just as good as I remember it!

Prior to going to Idaho, Mom, Dad, & Brooklyn came to Albuquerque to visit Aaron and I and to see our new house. We also took a trip to the top of the tram here in Albuquerque.

New York Trip 5/15-5/20/09

We recently went to New York with Aaron's parents and we had a great time! Here are some pictures of the fun that we had! We went a little (okay, a lot) crazy with buying purses and eating too much food! It was a very fun time!

So as luck would have it, the Survivor finale was being filmed in New York while we were there, and the WHOLE cast was staying in our hotel. I took some pictures with some of them and was acting like a crazy paparazzi as soon as I saw all of them. At the top is Stephen who got second and below is Erinn who got 3rd. Little do they know, they are standing with a soon-to-be 1st place Survivor!

South Pacific! I loved it on Broadway! One of my most favorite things! My parents should have sent me to New York when I was little! I just wanted to be on the stage the whole time!

New Backyard!

We got our backyard all done! It is very nice to have a place to relax. CoCo has a place to run around and Aaron got a new lawnmower! I painted the kitchen walls under and above the cabinets a nice green color. It is called "Grasshopper Wing" (kind of a random name). I quit my job, so people need to come and visit me! I am waiting..... My new job is applying to be on Survivor! I will post pictures of our trip to New York soon! We had a VERY fun time!

I Totally Made it on the RADIO!

So today.....I made it on the RADIO! When I drive to work, it takes me about a 1/2 hour. So, I listen to this morning show on one of the radio stations here in Albuquerque. Every once in a while they do some trivia or story telling moments. I call in about once or twice a week but ALWAYS get a busy signal. Well.....today I got through! They were talking about a pretty random topic, but I had a story to go right along with it.

They topic was about "inappropriate things that may have been said to you." Well, I decided to clean it up a little and get away from the crazy stuff that people were saying and told my story about Costco! About a year ago, Aaron's mom, dad, Aaron and I were in Costco and like we always do, we were hoarding the samples. Down at one of the ends of the freezer aisle, they were giving away Cream Puffs! BONUS! So, as I saw these little fabulous treats I started walking a little faster and said the following phrase:

"OH....HELLO" (said seductively)

Aaron's dad was walking beside me and heard and so did a man walking past me. The man looked at me and was kind of astonished. He thought I was talking to him! I took a step back and said, "Oh, sorry....I was talking about the cream puffs." Nevertheless, we all had a good laugh.

So, I told this story on the radio! They laughed and I finally had my voice heard around the greater Albuquerque area!

Radio is in my blood, you know!

1. Who was your FIRST prom date?
Tyler Meservy! He was my next door neighbor growing up and one of my best friends. We had a really great time and he was the BEST prom date ever!
2. Do you still talk to your FIRST love?
Of course....I talk to him everday!
3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?
Never have partaken!
4. What was your FIRST job?
Working for my dad at the radio stations.....but my first job was probably actually working at Dairy Queen. I just ran the front of the store and served ice cream. I made some really funny friends that summer!
5. What was your FIRST car?
The Mermaid! I still own it, and much to Aaron's dismay, he drives it everyday. What a nice husband. The Mermaid is a aquamarine Ford Escort. I will always love that car!
6. Who was the FIRST person to text you today?
Stefanie about Weston being a racist!
7. Who is the FIRST person you thought of this morning?
Person or Dog? CoCo....she decided to dig and destroy my hair this morning. Wild puppy!
8. Who was your FIRST grade teacher?
Mrs. Reid. I loved her! She was great and I still see her when I visit Jerome.
9. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?
I flew to California for Disneyland and dance competition!
10. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?
Hailie Rose! Yes we still talk! Not as much as I would like, but she still is my best friend. We have some of the greatest memories!
11. Where was your FIRST sleep over?
I can't remember. Probably with Hailie. We played a lot of Barbie games, went out to see the chicks and chickens, and made pillow cases with her mom. Those were the days!
12. Who was the FIRST person you talked to today?

13. Whose wedding were you in for the FIRST time?
My cousin Prona's. I was a flower girl and we had these really pretty black and white dresses that were silky and full. I even got to throw out the little petals! I loved being in that wedding. Ryan and Conrad wore these cute tuxes. We were probably like 5, 4, and 2 years old.
14. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?
Took a shower and got ready for work, made hot chocolate, and said bye to CoCo.
15. FIRST tattoo?
I don't have one....but I got a fake one on my honeymoon in Key West.
16. FIRST piercing?
I got my ears pierced when I was 12.
17. FIRST foreign country you've been to?
We went to Grand Caymen on our honeymoon, but otherwise, I have just stayed in the United States.
18. FIRST movie you remember seeing?
I don't even know, but I was and still am obsessed with Sound of Music. I was actually singing a song from that yesterday!
19. When was your FIRST detention?
I never went to detention, but this one time a boy in 2nd grade ripped his shirt and tried to blame it on Marjorie Bingham, Megan Addey, and I. I don't remember having any part in it.....I am still really confused about that whole thing.....Do you remember anything about it Marjorie?
20. What was the FIRST state you lived in?
Idaho!

CoCo's New Backyard!
The front was landscaped when we moved in, but we have some work to do in the backyard. Yesterday we rocked portions of the backyard where we are not going to put grass. We installed the stepping stones that you see below. We are very tired and SORE right now. Aaron is a trooper and a very STRONG man! CoCo should be thankful she has somewhere to go when she bolts out of her doggy door!

We went to Idaho for Christmas! We had a really good time! My parents always make sure that we are entertained when we visit Idaho. They were more than generous to us with the Christmas presents! It was fun to be with my whole family for Christmas!

Ris' Wedding

Here are pictures of Carissa and Wyatt's wedding! It was a lot of fun! It was so nice to see all of my extended family. I have not seen some of them since my wedding. Carissa's colors were lime green and bright pink and her cake was really fun! Wyatt also had a cake that was decorated like a cow! The candy bar was a lot of fun! Wyatt and Carissa are great! Can't wait to see them at Christmas!
NOTE: The camera had a fingerprint on the lense (still waiting for CSI to find out whose it was), so some of the pictures are a little fuzzy. Good thing we had a profesh photographer there.

Canine Country Club Over-Achievers!

This is one of the funniest things that has happened all week. We just got back from Thanksgiving and my sister's wedding in Idaho. Aaron's parents went to Spokane. CoCo and Lucy got to spend Thankgiving in the lap of luxury at the Canine Country Club...and...they both got their first report cards! They were definitely A+ doggies. Here is CoCo's report card with stickers and everything! Lucy's says pretty much the same thing! That report card just made my day!

I will post pictures of the wedding soon! It was really fun and nice to see everyone! Wyatt is a great guy! Carissa is very lucky!

And....we're back!

We are really sorry that we have not posted in a while. Nothing super exciting was going on in our lives and we were just a huge bit busy! Aaron finished his Master's degree in Construction Management (thanks for the caramels, Grandma & Grandpa W.)! We are building a house in suburb right outside of Albuquerque. Aaron still teaches sunday school, Kristen is the Mia Maid advisor, we are the Stake DJ's for the youth dances (Grandpa L. and Dad would be proud), and we work at the Albuquerque Temple every other Saturday night. Aaron still works for Brycon Construction and I still work for Blanchard Construction/Defined Fitness. Here are some pictures of our new house and activities that happened during the spring and summer!

We would have had way more pictures of me taking off in the balloon because I asked this girl to take some pictures for me and then e-mail them to me when she got home....but of course....she did not do it! This also happened at the Obama event that we went to, but the people did not send us the pictures of us shaking hands with Obama! Who are these people! I guarantee if someone asked me to send pictures to them, I would have done it . It does not cost a cent!
I guess I don't really care about the Obama pictures anyways, but the balloon ones would have been cool!

Kristen's parents also came to visit at the beginning of October, which was really fun! We went to the aquarium, ate lots of food, visited Jackelope (awesome furniture and accessory store), but did not make it to the balloon fiesta. My dad said that he did not want to get up early again and that he felt he was fulfilled in life by only seeing the balloons once (they came to visit last year). Lazy Daddy!

Our little (not so little anymore) nephew, Weston, got a liver transplant back on Valentines Day! Thankful. Look at his cute little chubakin face!

And here are our 2 new nieces that were born 3 weeks ago!

We are going to see them in about 2 1/2 days for their blessing!

I was running yesterday and for the
first time since I have lived here in
Albuquerque I finally saw why they call the
mountains the Sandia Mountains.
When I got home, I grabbed my camera and took a picture.
The word 'sandia' means WATERMELON in Spanish.
When the leaves start to change and the sun sets, the mountains look like a watermelon.
The bottom looks like the red part of the watermelon during sunset,
the rocky part looks like the white part of the watermelon
and the evergreen trees on top look like the rind.
Interesting enough!
Also, Aaron, being the genius he is, got the highest grade on his midterm test in one of his construction management classes!

Weekend with the Lee Family!

Last weekend Kristen's parents and Kristen's sister, Brooklyn, made a road trip clear down to Albuquerque!
It was really fun and we're glad that they could make it down here!
We had a lot of fun and can't wait to see them again!
We had a great time at the International Balloon Fiesta, eating at the base of the Sandia Mountains and making another fantastic trip to the Bobcat Bite where they have the nation's best cheeseburger (as rated by Bon Apetit magazine)!

This Saturday we attended the BYU vs. UNM game here in Albuquerque.
We went with Aaron's mom, Kaye. We had a really good time and sat in some fantastic seats. We got to sit in one of the sky boxes and eat our eyeballs out.
The food was great! (Kristen and Kaye had 2 meals each!)

Last weekend we decided to take a trip to the famed

'Bobcat Bite'
in Santa Fe New Mexico!
They have been voted by Bon Appetit Magazine to have the
best cheeseburger
in the nation, so naturally, we had to go and try it
seeing as it is so close to where we live. The place is a small little diner style building and has very limited seating.
We had to wait about an hour to finally sit down, but it was worth it!
It was a fun night and the Green Chile Cheeseburger was fantastic!

For those who have not seen pictures of our little baby, here she is! Her name is CoCo Chanel and she is a perfect little Miniature Pinscher. She is really sweet and Aaron and I love her to death! She is very smart and funny and hyper!

I am an Accountant and I love my job. I do a lot of work and get to meet a lot of people around town. I also do some private consulting and contract work. I have a couple pretty good clients, which will be good because I can do work at home.

Aaron and I got invited to a special thank-you breakfast with Mitt Romney in June, but we did not go because we were on vacation with my family and it was $1000 a plate! We donated some money, but definitely weren't willing to donate $1000 a piece. We're students for pete's sake! There were only like 100 people invited!

Aaron also likes his job. He is going to school and will graduate with his Master's in Construction Management in April. He is learning a lot on the job and works really hard at it and at school. He is a great husband and we have a lot of fun! Being married is great when you are married to someone great! As for future plans, we have none. We are waiting for April when Aaron graduates to see what he wants to do and what kind of jobs he gets offered.

Aaron and I just mostly go to work everyday and when we get home we like to workout and run. We run a lot, which is great! We also play tennis and ride our mountain bikes (No rollerblades after the little breaking of the tail bone incident). I am the Mia Maid Advisor for our ward and Aaron teaches Sunday School to the 14-15 year olds. We love our ward and really enjoy the people we have met here in Albuquerque!

Shows to watch: Survivor, The Simple Life, CSI, The Office, Hell's Kitchen, America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, The Hills, Newport Harbor, The Singing Bee, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, The Apprentice (canceled....sad), GREY'S ANATOMY!!! I get really depressed after I watch Grey's Anatomy. My major used to be pre-med and I was going to go into surgery. Oh well, I like what I am doing now. Maybe later in life I can become a surgeon!
